When Nicola Lewin reached out to us, both her upper and lower jaws were severely impacted by gum disease, resulting in loose teeth and significant bone loss as confirmed by X-ray.
Dr Kaman performed extractions of her failing teeth and replaced them with dental implant-supported bridges. Nicola was able to use her new teeth immediately, enjoying functionality and aesthetics that matched, if not surpassed, those of her natural teeth. 9 Branemark dental implants were used in the upper jaw and 5 Branemark dental implants in the lower jaw. This case was particularly tricky as there was very little usable bone in the lower jaw in which to place dental implants.
Porcelain fused to gold bridges were used to provide an aesthetically pleasing look and a strong restoration. The dental implant bridges are held in by screws and can easily be removed by a dentist if necessary.

Time Required to Completed Treatment:3 visits, 3 and 6 months apart respectively. The first two visits were for 3 days each and the final required 10 days.
